“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing.” -Isaiah 43:18–19

As you hear these words,
you may feel how hard they can be to live.
Because letting go is not simple.
Even when we want to move forward,
part of us still reaches back—
to old memories,
old mistakes,
old wounds that still ache
when we touch them too closely.
Some days, the past feels louder than hope.
Some days, it feels safer to look back
than to trust what we cannot yet see.
But God is not asking you to erase what was.
He is inviting you to release what no longer belongs
to where He is leading you.
When it feels safer to stay where you are,
remember this:
God does not ask you to move alone.
He meets you in the ache of letting go
with peace.
He meets you in uncertainty
with quiet assurance.
What God is preparing for you
is not meant to diminish your past,
but to grow you beyond it.
And as you step into what comes next—
even with fear,
even with unanswered questions—
know this:
God is already there.
Walking with you.
Unfailing.
